When Boyd enters a distant tree he finds himself at the bottom of a well
The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved roads and driveways were all that remained and the fictional town was built on top of them.

When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. The rope was not thrown by Martin. Appeared in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022).
While it’s not perfect, it’s suspenseful and good enough to keep me hooked
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Starring The Pixies. The preview looked like a mashup of several shows like Wayward Pines, Lost, and a little Under the Dome thrown in. I expected it to have a vague plot after seeing that it’s from the same creators of Lost, but it has a solid plot and the characters are likable.
