When a strange disease threatens to kill anyone with the right luck, it explores the lengths people will go to save themselves when the wealth that has turned the world upside down becomes its most dangerous commodity. Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl and Macaulay Culkin were cast, but all three dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Rosamund Pike was replaced by Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Daniel Brühl was replaced by Rafe Spall.
